Phases of Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is like taking care of certain things in a particular manner. Chiropractic care is a biomechanical and physiological aspect of the body. It takes time to resolve problems correctly and fully without any drugs or surgery. Some conditions can be treated in a few visits or days.

At Specialty Care Clinics, we understand your pain and take steps towards recovery. We provide pain evaluation medical treatments for Auto Injury, Spine and Back Pain, and Joint Pain, Wound Care, and many other pain management services.

Here Are Some General Phases Of Chiropractic Care:

Pain Relief Care

Pain can occur suddenly or by any injury or a specific disease. People suffering from pain go to a chiropractor to begin treatment. The main goal of this first phase of care is to reduce pain, symptoms, nerve irritation, tissue inflammation and restore the regular motion to the affected area. It also increases your flexibility. The patients who have been in an auto accident mostly need a chiropractor.

The Relief Care phase is started gently, with effective and comfortable techniques. This may lead to reduce your spasm, swelling and ease your symptoms quickly. You should maintain spinal balance and spinal stability for proper healing. You need to follow all the instructions given by the Doctor to obtain relief.

A doctor’s visit is essential to obtain the goal in a short period of time. The number of visits depends on the patient’s condition, injury, and pain. Sometimes you will require daily visits or two to three visits per week for a time. Do not miss any of your appointments with a chiropractor.

Corrective Care

This corrective phase of care is also known as Restorative Care Or Rehabilitative Care. Corrective care mainly focuses on flexibility and strength. The goal of this phase is to restore the structure and functions of joints and muscles. It heals your nerve root and increases the regular motions.

In this phase, you will be doing rehabilitation exercises, and stretching activities either at the center or at home to achieve lasting healing. Restorative care can improve quality of life and health.

During this phase, your symptoms may have completely disappeared, but the chances of the condition recurring are much greater. So, it is necessary to continue taking care even though your symptoms are gone. The frequency of doctor visits may decrease but, again it can differ as per the patient's health condition and recovery.

Wellness Care

Wellness care is necessary after relief and corrective care is completed. The wellness phase is also known as the preventative phase of chiropractic care.

Routine chiropractic care can ensure that your problems do not return, and keep your body in proper condition. To avoid aches and pains make chiropractic care a part of your lifestyle. This will help reduce muscular stress and maintain structural integrity. A proper diet is also necessary to maintain a nutritional balance.

The patient will enjoy health and quality of life by having chiropractic care. A regular check-up will help you stay out of pain.
